| Senior golfers lose flexibility and strength with age which results in loss of club head speed, distance, as well as balance. Soreness and stiffness is an issue for many older golfers. Research has proven that the progression of age related body deterioration can be slowed by regular exercise. Senior golfers can improve muscle flexibility, strength, stamina, balance, posture, mental focus, and deter injury, stiffness and soreness by adhering to a basic exercise program. Most Seniors should “Modify, Modify, Modify” an exercise program to adapt to the physical needs of the individual. Start at the Par Level and gradually work up to the Birdie Level exercises. The Eagle Level is challenging and should be reserved for fitness buffs who exceed the Birdie Level. Remember….no exercise should hurt or create pain. The Roberts Flex Fit Method which targets the biomechanics of the golf swing gives the Senior Golfer the necessary tools to enhance, improve, and prolong physical and mental ability. The end result is allowing more longevity in the joy of the game of golf and life. |
